DJB Software was established in 1982 to provide software for Golf Club Administration to include all aspects of Competitions and Handicapping, and Membership and Subscription Renewal/Accounting systems. By the end of the 1980's a user base of 100 plus Golf Clubs were successfully using our 'DOS' solutions, these included Aberdovey, Copt Heath, Little Aston , Peterborough Milton, Royal Lytham & St Annes, Royal Liverpool, Hesketh, Sudbury, Turnberry, and West Middlesex.
These systems have now been redeveloped in 'Windows'. The experience of working with over 100 Golf Clubs for 15 plus years has been carefully 'built in' to our new versions, ensuring that the systems are easy to use and will meet the needs of our customers. We listen carefully to all feedback from our customers and welcome suggestions, which will then be incorporated into future versions.
The Windows Software comprises of 4 Modules, Membership & Subscription Renewals, Competitions and Handicapping (Men), Competitions and Handicapping (Ladies) and Diary/Tee Times. Since the introduction of the Windows system DJB Software has enjoyed substantial growth, with 200 plus new Golf Clubs as customers. All of our 'Traditional' customers have now successfully upgraded to Windows. Our Customer User base is now in excess of 300 Clubs.
The new Windows Software has been well received by existing customers, and our substantial growth has been achieved by replacing systems supplied by all our major competitors. These have included Churston, Fulford Heath, Hurlston Hall, Milford Haven and Oakmere Park. Additionally, our Software is now in use at 5 Open Championship venues.
DJB Software provides a complete service to Golf Clubs, including advice on the choice of Membership Card systems, 7 days a week telephone support, telephone training sessions, and ongoing upgrades e.g. if CONGU or LGU amend their regulations. If you are upgrading from another computer system, where feasible we will transfer the existing Members details and Handicap lists into the new system.
Since 1997 we have been working closely with suppliers of Membership Card Systems for use with Tills, Security Access and Barriers. It is essential that our Customers do not have to enter Membership details in more than one place, so we have built 'links' to the Membership Card systems thus providing a 'single Membership database', plus the advantage that Members may pay Competition Fees via their Membership Cards when using our Individual Competition Entry System (I.C.E)
